The event is being organised by Datateam Business Media, publisher of Builders Merchants Journal (BMJ). The inaugural BMJ industry Awards will shine a spotlight on the building industries most outstanding people, merchants and brands.
“The aim of the BMJ Industry Awards is to reflect the massive pool of talent we have out there, celebrating the brands, names and business that keep the merchant sector thriving.”
BMJ is the UK’s longest established magazine that caters solely for the information needs of the wholesale construction distribution market. For 100 years’ they have been at the forefront of publishing to the UK merchanting industry, making them the perfect choice to host such a prestigious event.

The awards will be split in to three categories; brands, merchants and people and will include awards such as ‘Best Merchant Showroom of the Year’, ‘Best Bathroom Brand’ and ‘Best Customer Service’. For a full list of the awards and criteria click here.
Brands, merchants and individuals may enter any of the relevant categories and make nominations online. Entries and nominations that meet the criteria will then be allowed through to the voting stage, which will produce 5 finalists in each category, with the winner being those with the most votes overall.
